The Preview

Name your business, press Go, and watch a month happen on a customer’s phone with your name written into it.

Available 23 pages 69 interactive controls on the home page
Right for

A business whose result takes months to appear: marketing, training, recruitment, anything where the buyer has to imagine the outcome and usually imagines it badly.

Where the product is invisible until it runs

The Preview as it was built: Watch the result before you buy it
The brief it came from

High conversion, engaging, fun, for people who do not care about technicalities and are driven only by results.

Open it

The whole thing is standing, every page of it, built on the same prices and the same mark as this site. It is marked on every screen as a direction rather than the live site, and the figures printed inside it are the ones published on the day it was built.

The brand design

How it was built to look like itself.

Deliberately the smallest display size of the fourteen, because the phone beside it is the thing you are meant to look at.

Shape

A pinned phone on the right, a machine of six steps on the left, hairline cards throughout.

Motion

The demo is the motion, and it moves because something is happening rather than to decorate. Under reduced motion every wait becomes zero and it lands on the final state.

The one device

Six screens play in order with the business name written into each: the listing at the top of the results, the site, a post approved by you, a review with its reply drafted, an enquiry traced to a pamphlet code, and the month accounted for.

What it does better than the rest

The strongest single idea of the fourteen. It shows the result before asking for anything, and personalises it from one field.

What it costs you

The demo runs for fifteen seconds and the page waits for it. A visitor arriving mid-scroll has missed the plot, so every section has to read standing still as well, and that is extra work most teams skip.

The rule it taught us

A demo that owns the page owns its failure too. Compose for stillness first, then let the motion be the reward.
