The longer story, if you want it
Twenty documents. One to ten define what the system is; from eleven on, how it behaves when nobody is using it. Offered a faster web shortcut, the founder chose the stack as written, and paid for it in a day of toolchains.
Five convictions it is worse for, on purpose: the data never leaves the device; money math is tested math; the ledger is the single truth; every number must be explainable; honest empty states over invented insight.
20 August. The verdict on the first shell: it felt generated, and finance software that does not look trustworthy is not finance software. A design system from a moodboard followed: warm canvas, ink cards, one lime, and a home that states the one thing that matters.
The household came next, because obligation in India runs sideways and upward. Then the interview: sixty questions in a human order, so a person living alone says no once, and a demo household in its own database file, deliberately imperfect.
The Strategist is the feature the tool exists for: what good accountants actually do, structured within the statute, every play with its legal basis and the ones with any heat with a named red line.
Where it stands. Proven logically, not yet visually; item one on the roadmap is a human looking at it. The name is not final. It opens to the businesses on this road first.
